Grayish-Blue Ceramics
- Heritage Areas: Pyeong-dong, Yeonsan-dong
- When looking at the grayish-blue ceramics, anybody could come up with a poetic phrase. The harmony of the balanced shape and secure feelings mingled with the blue-violet color draws viewers’ admiration. In the Yeonsan-dong area, the abundance of good quality porcelain clay and glaze materials helped contribute to the growth of Goryeo celadon and Yi Dynasty porcelain.
Jeontong (Arrow Quiver)
- Heritage Area: Eoryong-dong
- This thin bamboo quiver with natural thickness has powerful dragon engraved on its side. A plain bamboo stalk gets its vitality from god’s hand and is transformed into a dragon. The whole production process is done by hand.
